Over the past five years, we have worked with over 150 performers of Asian descent spanning a variety of art forms on and offstage, including drag, burlesque, dance, comedy, music, spoken word and circus.
We tell Asian stories, create safe spaces, throw parties, produce shows, diversify Asian representation, provide platforms, and educate on racial issues.
Evelyn Carnate (Miss Burlesque UK, Co-founder of The Bitten Peach and founder of Soho School of Burlesque) is an award-winning international cabaret performer, director and producer. Some highlights of her cabaret career include: Producing & directing The Bitten Peach shows at Underbelly Festival and Theatre Royal Stratford East, producing a resident show at Crazy Coqs, producing stages and cabaret shows at Glastonbury Festival, teaching at Soho School of Burlesque, guest teaching at Soho Theatre Cabaret & Drag Lab and becoming an ambassador for the charity Cabaret Vs Cancer. In 2023, she also started fundraising for Endometriosis UK and is passionate about raising awareness and empowering fellow #EndoWarriors through her #BurlesqueForEndometriosis projects.
ShayShay is a non-binary Japanese-Irish-American playwright and screenwriter.
With a background in drag & cabaret, ShayShay’s work explores the intersections of race & queerness. Their work includes “The Simple LIfe & Death” (The Pleasance, 2024) & “Mulan Rouge” (The Vaults, 2021-22).
Jason Kwan is a singer-songwriter and model. He released his debut EP "Deja Vu" in June 2024, accompanied by a UK tour. “Paradise” landed on Spotify’s New Music Friday UK and GLOW playlists, Apple Music’s New In Pride across all territories, and premiered on BBC Introducing.
Independent through and through, Jason has performed at Glastonbury Festival, Meltdown Festival, opened for Rina Sawayama at Electrowerkz, and in 2023 landed three national billboard campaigns. He’s notably been a face of NYX Cosmetics, starring alongside Anne-Marie and Yasmin Finney.
Coined by her inner circle as the “all-knowing rich auntie”, Mahatma Khandi straddles two worlds: fashion and performance. Drag might be their name but styling is their game. They've worked with high calibre magazines like Vogue, ID and GQ, taking the fashion world by storm from NYC to Paris. Working for high profile designers like B Akerlund, they have worked on styling for Nicki Minaj, Monica Bellucci and Madonna as well as commercial styling for John Frieda, M&S and KFC.
Mahatma Khandi is the first ever Drag Performer to showcase their talent at the Tower of London. Their credits span across reality TV and musical theatre, to music festivals, including: MTV's 'True Love or True Lies’ Season 2, ITV2 Celebrity Karaoke Drag Queen Edition. Miss Khandi has also landed adverts with Schwarzkopf, Skittles, NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, and BBC3, and has performed at The Garrick, Lyric Hammersmith, Pleasance Theatre, Mighty Hoopla, Glastonbury, and Coachella.
